Let’s talk testimonials.

Testimonials. Reviews. Sweet words. Whatever you want to call them.

They are kind words that past customers and clients have said about you and your work.

They’re pretty dang awesome. And are KEY for success and making your life so much easier.

Why, you might ask?

Sure, it feels nice to see that someone totally loved that painting they bought, but there is SO much more to them than that.

Let’s jump in!

Why Testimonials Are Important for Artists

1. Social Proof

Have you ever bought something because someone recommended it? Maybe Cindy down the street told you about this adorable little boutique that has the cutest scarves. Or a stranger on the web raving about that hella expensive face cream gave you the courage to hit that scary “Buy” button.

Words matter.

When your customers and clients say wonderful things about you and your work, that can make your next potential customer find the courage to actually make that purchase.

Testimonials give you credibility, and naturally this will end up giving your sales a huge boost.

2. Fills you with the warm & fuzzies

This does SO much more than just making you feel good. The path of the artist can be a tricky one, filled with ups and downs.

Sometimes those downs can be a bit tricky to fight through. One snide comment online might derail you emotionally – even though it is just one bad comment amongst hundreds of adoring ones.

Still – humans are delicate beings that focus on the negative more than we should, so next time you’re feeling blue take a peek through your testimonials and you’ll bounce back – promise. A little love can go a long way.
